If your baby doesn't like this swing at first, just keep trying. Our baby HATED it the first few times we put him in it, but slowly over time he fell in love with it. A lot of times when I can't get him to take a nap in his crib, I'll put him in the swing and he'll fall asleep. It has a lot of different speeds and the music can be soft or loud. The music is actually very nice, I thought it would be annoying. It took me forever to realize that the toy bar comes right off - I was putting the baby in with the toy bar on and it was really difficult. It is a little hard to get the baby in just the right position because the swing moves if you bump it, but you get the hang of it eventually. It doesn't take up much room which is nice, but since it's so low it can be kind of hard to squat down and get the baby in the swing at the same time.
