Smart Display - Deep Sea Blue

I decided to change the echo dot on my night stand for a echo show 5, very pleased, having a screen to view the weather, recent notifications, added devices, view the news and even videos its great. But the main good reason is being able to view the camera live feed, get instant motion notifications and automatically get a live view of whats going on. I have two blink cameras and a ring doorbell and they work flawlessly together. Sound is somewhat decent. In my opinion the dot has slightly better sound at higher volume. did a great job with this second gen.

I really like the ease of use with voice commands.Took me a bit to get the hang on how to navigate it, but once I did I figured it out quickly. I can do so many things between our kids and with my spouse.We have a calendar that we both can add to and can both be seen from our Alexa App and Echo show. It plays games, does the awesome Drop In, has Hulu and plays radio stations. It is really neat and so fun! I love the Photo gallery of my family I created and it plays in the background. If you like taking photos and want to share with your family get the Photos app. it's awesome how it all coordinates with each other and the Show.

I own several of these.. I've been pretty pleased with all of them all of them. The build quality appears to be good, the functionality appears to be good, the sound quality appears to be good, it appears to have good the touch screen sensitivity. I use devices all over my house and mom's house. I can check up on her with the sound of my voice. It works well.

The Echo Show 5 is a great device for anyone. I got this for my senior Mother. It allows me to drop in and see her to make sure she is OK. Specifically when her phone is off the hook, I can see her and communicate. In the past, I would worry until she realized the phone was off the hook.This is just one example of the many ways it is helpful for a senior. There are upgraded features for every age group. The size is ideal for table side. I have more space and use an Echo Show 8. Great products!!

Both the big screen and lil screen. To me it was worth it 100% my kids love it I have Alexa connected to 60% of my house hold electronics and she works flawlessly. Sometimes I may have to repeat my self but nothings perfect especially for items under 100. But yea if you thinking about getting one I would say get it . Youll be surprised on how much you can actually do on these new touch screen versions. Tbh i would stay away from any other device that's not touch screen theyre priced the same and youre limiting yourself to what can be done
